Am Samstag, 2. Dezember von 16:30 bis 19:30 Uhr wird sie Ihren Workshop "Make the most out of short rows" bei uns unterrichten.

Aus der Workshop-Beschreibung:
Short rows are a fun and simple technique for shaping your knitting that allows you to knit a gentle curve or slope by adding extra length of fabric to parts of your knitting. Short rows can be used for almost any shaping: the shoulders of sweaters, the heels of socks, custom-fitting the bust area, or perhaps ad a gentle curve to the bottom of a sweater.
In this workshop we take a look how to use short rows in more untraditional places too; to shape a shawl, add a wedge, or even instead of intarsia!

During this workshop you will learn:

- Different types of short rows - How to use short rows for fit

- How to use short rows for shape

- Short rows in different stitch patterns and how to choose the best technique

Materials needed: Small balls of yarn, for example leftovers from previous projects, in small variety of colors.
Needles suitable to work with you yarn (needles you can use for small circumference knitting in the round and for knitting flat).

Am Sonntag, 3. Dezember von 12:00 bis 15:00 Uhr wird sie Ihren Workshop "Round yoke sweaters" bei uns unterrichten.

Round Yoke Sweater is such a classic piece of knitting! The visual appeal, all the history and all the possible variations are a big part of the style. We can truly say there’s something about the charm of a yoke!
In this class you will learn the principles and many different variations of this style as well as some important points from the history of Round Yoke Sweaters.

This workshop goes through:

- The basics of a Round Yoke Sweater construction

- The technique from top down by working a mini sample.

- Pro’s and con’s of the style

- Different variations of the construction

- How to choose the best style of Round Yoke Sweater for you

Materials needed: Skein of DK to worsted weight yarn to make the mini-sample.
Needles suitable to work with you yarn (needles you can use for small circumference knitting in the round and for knitting flat).

Im März 2015 haben wir Veera das erste Mal getroffen, seitdem gehört sie zu unseren Lieblingsdesignern - und wir haben viel gemeinsam erlebt. Sie war bei unseren beiden Berlin Knits Festivals in 2015 und 2017 zu Gast, wir haben das Shooting zu Interpretations Vol. 3 begleitet und zusammen Paris erkundet - und nun hat sie für unseren Frida Fuchs Adventskalender ein exklusives Design entworfen ... es gibt viel zu erzählen ...

Am Freitag, 1. Dezember von 18:30 bis 20:30 Uhr wird sie zu einem geselligen Beisammensein zu uns in den Laden kommen. In kleiner Runde habt Ihr die Gelegenheit, Veera näher kennenzulernen, einige Anekdoten zu hören und Details aus Ihrem Designerleben zu erfahren. Sicher wird sie auch viele ihrer Designs dabei haben ...
